The main goal of this journal (DLSR) is to expand and promote research, develop the boundaries of knowledge and publish research results in the fields of soil science and related topics (such as soil and water, soil physics, conservation and management, soil chemistry and fertility, soil biology and biodiversity, soil classification, evaluation and land suitability). Strengthening cooperation between diverse specialties of soil as a natural resource and communication with soil scientists around the world, coordination with researchers, experts and students of universities and research institutes for achieving ways to prevent (minimize) soil degradation is among other goals of DLSR. The journal accepts original, review, Case Study, practical and promotional research articles. It can also publish a limited number of short articles and technical notes in each issue.
